Tuesday it was a tour to Fernandina Beach. There were two memorable events on this tour. A ferryboat ride across the river, on the last operating ferry in Florida and a chance to drive our A’s on the beach.

We were ably lead on this tour by Tony and Carole Gazette in their 1931 Tudor. The second group of four more Model A’s from the Shade Tree A’ers arrived in the afternoon. That evening the Welcome Party was held in the Museum of Science and History, complete with a B-B-Q rib and chicken dinner.
